About Me
For more than 25 years, the Illawarra has been my home - a place where I’ve lived, worked, and raised my family.
My family come from humble beginnings, and I was taught the values that guide me today: honesty, hard work, and responsibility to others. These principles shape my approach to politics.
I entered public life to be a voice for those too often unheard: people facing challenges with housing, disability, health, or financial insecurity. Before being elected to Parliament in 2025, I worked on the frontlines of advocacy, for government and in the not-for-profit sector, including:
Leading one of Australia’s largest disability service providers to deliver better outcomes for people with disability
Driving programs for women’s health, gender equality, domestic violence prevention, and First Nations engagement
Fighting for justice as a lawyer through public interest test cases and pushing for important law reform.
Every role has strengthened my belief that real change starts with listening and acting. That’s the approach I bring to Parliament every day.
