Background
The Black Spot Program improves road safety by targeting dangerous locations where crashes are occurring or are at risk of occurring. Measures such as roundabouts, improved lighting and signage reduce the risk of accidents and save lives.
The Albanese Labor Government is increasing its commitment to the Black Spot Program from $110 million to $150 million per year, ensuring more high-priority projects can be delivered across the country.
