HOST: Federal Whitlam MP Carol Berry has has supported calls by the Australian government for the United States, Israel and Iran to de-escalate the war in the Middle East. the US and Israel have launched wide-ranging strikes across Iran hours before President Trump's deadline for Tehran to agree to end the war. Earlier, President Trump threatened that an entire civilization will die unless Iran agrees to meet his deadline. Carol Berry says countries involved need to put an end to the war.

CAROL BERRY MP: The Australian government has been making repeated calls for this war to end as quickly as possible. The global impacts of this crisis in Iran and the Middle East is of course reverberating across the globe and impacting on communities like our own.
